THE BLUE CRAB PIN
A pin from the Swedish Lifeguard Federation. Basic water safety. The swimmer shall, without aids, leave the edge or the adult by falling forward, in what is deep water for the swimmer, get his head under the water, turn and return to the starting position. Repeat three times. The blue crabpin is the second step in the swimming school's knowledge ladder. You will learn to float, look under the water, turn around and get to the edge or adult without aids. Once you've done this, you know how to do if you fall into the water.
